Collaborations

The BSU Think Tank constantly works on collaboration projects and classes with departments around campus, from hosting class, to supplying materials, to teaching classes.

Aviation 138

Drone Modeling

For the second half of every semester, the Think Tank staff teaches students in Aviation 138 how to 3D model and print drone bodies and parts as well as how to solder, code flashing lights on Arduino, and use the Cricut to make aircraft registration numbers.

C.A.S.E.

Open Lab Night

Every Fall, the Think Tank participates in Open Lab Nights working with kids from kindergarten to high school doing various and fun projects such as coding Lego Mindstorm robots, making buttons and stickers, and more!

Senior College

Cricut Creations 

Senior College brings in people who have retired and wish to keep learning. We collaborated with biology professor Ron Aakjar to teach a mini course on the manufacturing of casting traying used to run DNA and protein ladders in agarose gel.

C.A.S.E.

Weather Station

The Think Tank has partnered with C.A.S.E. to offer a class to high school students about the basics of electronics prototyping and Arduino programming to create a functional weather station!
